Privacy Policy

This policy describes data handling on 2Travel2China. Contact us at contact@2travel2china.com.

Current advertising status

Google advertising is disabled by default in the current site build. The site keeps an AdSense publisher declaration and verification metadata, but it does not load the Google advertising JavaScript unless two deployment controls are deliberately enabled: advertising must be enabled and a Google-certified consent management platform (CMP) must be confirmed ready. Legal, contact, error, empty and loading pages are not eligible for advertising.

Google Analytics measurement

We use Google Analytics 4 with measurement ID G-WKFR7H79H4 to understand page usage and improve the guides. The Google tag can process page URL and title, referrer, browser and device details, interaction timing, IP-derived approximate location and consent state. Google may receive cookieless measurement signals even when storage is denied. See how Google uses information from partner sites.

The site initializes Google Consent Mode v2 before Analytics configuration. analytics_storage, ad_storage, ad_user_data and ad_personalization default to denied; Google Signals and ad-personalization signals are disabled in the tag configuration. This build does not itself grant those storage or advertising consent states.

Data handled during an ordinary visit

  • Server and security logs: the hosting provider may process IP address, request time, URL, browser/device information and diagnostic data to deliver and protect the site.
  • Local preferences: when you bookmark a city, the city identifier is stored in your browser's local storage. It is not sent to our server by this feature.
  • Email: if you contact us by email, we receive the address, message and attachments you choose to send. We use them to respond, handle corrections or resolve rights/privacy requests.
  • Third-party resources: Google Analytics, map tiles, fonts or other network resources can receive technical request data such as IP address and user agent. OpenStreetMap attribution is shown beside the maps.

Google products, cookies and similar identifiers

Google Analytics is active as described above. If Google advertising is activated in the future, Google and other advertising partners may also collect, share and use data caused by serving and measuring ads. Third parties may place and read cookies in your browser, and may use web beacons, IP addresses, device identifiers or other identifiers to collect information. These technologies can support fraud prevention, frequency control, measurement, non-personalized advertising or—only where valid consent and settings allow—personalized advertising.

Consent and advertising choices

Before advertising is enabled for users in the European Economic Area, United Kingdom or Switzerland, the publisher must configure and verify a Google-certified CMP. That CMP must provide clear accept, reject and manage choices, pass the required consent signals, and allow withdrawal. Until that deployment requirement is met, the code-level advertising gates remain off. We do not use Google advertising to build audiences from child-directed activity or sensitive information.

Sharing, retention and rights

We do not sell contact emails. We may share data with infrastructure providers when needed to operate and secure the site, comply with law, or respond to a valid rights claim. Email is retained only as long as needed for the request and legal/security record keeping. You may ask for access, correction or deletion of information you sent us by emailing the address above; applicable legal exceptions may apply.

Children and precise location

The site is a general-audience travel resource and is not directed to children under 13. We do not request precise device location. Map coordinates shown for cities are public destination data, not a visitor's location.

Changes

We update this page when data practices or advertising configuration changes. The date above identifies the latest review. See our contact page for privacy requests.
