Editorial and Corrections Policy

Effective and last reviewed: 2026-07-17

Editorial responsibility

The 2Travel2China Editorial Team is responsible for selecting topics, drafting pages, checking sources and publishing corrections. Travel conditions change, so a review date means the page was checked on that date—not that every transport schedule or ticket rule is guaranteed afterward.

Source hierarchy

For visas, public transport, attraction entry, weather warnings, safety and health, we prefer government agencies, official operators and the attraction itself. We may use established secondary sources for context, but a secondary source does not override a current first-party notice. Every city guide includes official links for readers to perform a final check.

What we do not publish as fact

We do not manufacture review scores, opening hours, ticket requirements, addresses or live weather. Estimates such as “allow half a day” are labelled as planning estimates. We remove a claim when its source cannot be verified or when a template has applied it to the wrong destination.

Corrections

Send corrections to contact@2travel2china.com. Include a URL and reliable evidence. Material corrections are applied to the page and its review date is updated. Minor spelling or formatting changes do not imply that all facts were rechecked.

Commercial independence and AI assistance

Paid placements, affiliate relationships and supplied trips must be disclosed beside the relevant content. Automated tools may assist with organization or editing, but the publisher remains responsible for accuracy, originality and policy compliance. We do not publish unreviewed generated pages at scale.
